Welcome to the Krewe of Pygmalion!

Since 1999, Pygmalion has been bringing the spirit, excitement, and tradition of Carnival to the streets of New Orleans. What started with a group of Carnival veterans has grown into a krewe of couples, families, friends, and Carnival lovers who come together year after year to celebrate what makes Mardi Gras so special.

Today, we are proud to be the crown jewel of Mardi Gras’ first weekend.

For us, it’s about more than a parade. It’s about the people, the music, the floats, the throws, the friendships, and the memories we make along the way.

Come Party with the PYG-January 30th 2027

We invite you to join us for our annual parade along the traditional St. Charles Avenue route and then keep the celebration going at PYGMALIONFEST at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, our after-parade party.

Whether you’re a longtime rider, a lifelong Carnival fan, or experiencing Pygmalion for the first time, we’re glad you’re here.

Come ride with us. Come celebrate with us. Come party with the PYG.

And starting at 10 PM on the evening of the parade, tune in to WWL-TV to watch and stream the parade as we parade into Pygmalion Fest. We’ll see you on the Avenue!
